Purpose Statement
Our purpose for Children’s Ministry is to share the love of Jesus Christ with all children. To train up children in the way they should go by assisting them in developing a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, worship, prayer, and developing an understanding of God’s Word. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”-Proverbs 22:6
Vision for Children’s Department
It is our desire:
- To present children with the truth of Jesus Christ at an early age.
- To pour the love of Christ into their lives, so that Christ would be real to them.
- That all children would have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- That the children would be presented the plan of salvation.
- To help them grow in a closer walk with God, a relationship.
- To teach children to pray and how to study the Word.
- To provide the children with an atmosphere that is safe and welcoming to the Holy Spirit.

Heritage Christian Academy will open as our new Mother’s Day-Out Program beginning August 17, 2010! We will offer the program to children from walking to 4 years of age. The schedule will include art, stories, songs, outdoor play, lunch, naptime, etc. The classes will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Children's Ministry will begin the new Sunday school year August 8th by promoting children to their appropriate age group which follows:
Sunday School Curriculum: Cokesbury-- ROCK SOLID - "Building a Heart of Faith"
Room 108:
| 6 weeks - 3 years of age (Nursery)
Teachers: Miss Detra, Miss Elizabeth, and Miss Kylee | Room 107:
| Pre-Kindergarten to 1st Grade

| 2nd and 3rd Grades

HERITAGE CHILDREN'S CHURCH:
8:30 AM and 11:00 AM Sundays. (Nursery to 2nd grade)
