What we're about...
reaXion Student Ministries strives to encourage 6th through 12th grade youth to develop relationships with God and Jesus Christ. That is our number one priority, however, we don't just stop there! We share Biblical principles and help youth develop their own ideas about contemporary issues facing teens and the Church. We try to encourage faith development and an individual prayer life. We try to help youth develop relationships with each other and other members of our faith community. We lay foundations for a life in service to God and community. We teach individual responsibility, commitment to community, and a life that reflects what we believe.
What we do...
reaXion Student Ministries offers some amazing opportunities for youth... from camps to retreats to sporting events to mission trips and even paintball! Our activities are diverse in order to meet the needs of today's active teens! But we also strive to help youth academically as well; that is why we have a Computer Lab in our Youth Department, complete with multiple computers. This allows even youth who don't have access to a computer at home to take advantage of the internet and printers.
Some of our mission work includes Youth Force Lawton, and annual Blanket and Coat Drive for the homeless of Tulsa, and some of our youth even accompany the Adults on their annual mission trip. If you are interested in taking part in some of our activities, please visit us on Wednesday nights from 6:00pm to 8:00pm or contact our Youth Minister, Matt Morgan, for more information or a monthly calendar. If you are looking for a safe place to experience God and meet a lot of great friends, then reaXion Student Ministries is the place for you! |
